The Gold Standard in Pasta: Il Mulino, New York City
According to Josh Spear’s Blog, “Il Mulino is the Cartier of pasta.”
By this, he means that the new retail line up of pastas from New York City’s most popular Italian restaurant is worthy of its namesake, with such succulent offeriings as Marinara Sauce, Pomodoro Sauce, Benedetto Cavalieri Pasta, Sicilian Sea Salt, Aged Balsamic Vinegar, Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Italian Coffee.

I have tried Il Mulino sauce, and I have to say, it is the best pasta sauce I have ever had in my life. After you try it, any other pasta sauce tastes watery by comparison. It is THAT good! It bursts with flavor and tastes homemade.
Wow! This must REALLY be as good as advertised. I’ll just have to give it a taste.
Cheers,
Gil
Interessare, molto interessante. Come avete fatto questo?
This sauce is incredible right out of the jar! My first taste was simply dipping a piece of bread into the jar. It was amazing! I added some fresh italian sausage and let it simmer for a while…and again…absolutely amazing. A friend from NYC bought me a jar and I subsequently went online looking for more. Balducci’s supposedly sells the product, but, when you go to purchase they’re all out! Last week I went into Di Bruno Bros. in Philly and saw they have the sauces for only $9.99 a jar! As far as I know you can’t find it anywhere else on the web. You have to try this stuff!
