Jen & Ben Wed: Parrot Cay Resort, Providenciales

It’s now official… Jennifer Garland and Ben Affleck wed yesterday at the fabulous Parrot Cay Resort on the Turks & Caicos Island of Parrot Cay. Now isn’t that ironic? It’s near Providenciales, another island in the group with porcelein white sand where I proposed to my wife after staying in a neighboring swanky Caribbean resort.

Nestled in the tranquil British West Indies southeast of the Bahamas, the Parrot Cay Resort utilizes traditional colonial decor like four poster beds with lavish white fabrics. The infinity pool is to die for. Water temps are about 82 in the summer and great for diving, snorkeling or deep sea fishing because of the clarity of the ocean.

But back to Jen/Ben. They chose this Shambhala Retreat because of its exclusivity and remoteness. There are 58 rooms, 4 ocean suites 6 beach houses, and 6 beach villas, all with A/C, ceiling fans, and other amenities you might expect. It’s her first marriage, his second, and they’re expecting a baby that’s due in November. Congrats to all three of them.
