A new survey by Sita Inc. — a company providing technology solutions for the air transport industry — shows that “the problem of mishandled baggage is worsening on both sides of the Atlantic.” You want numbers? You better sit down: 30 million bags out of 3 billion total were temporarily lost last year with 200,000 of them (0.7%) permanently going astray.
