An exclusive bottle of a vintage wine from the wine region of Bordeaux, Chateau Margaux 1787 was insured at an eye popping amount of $225,000 in 1989 when one of these wine bottles was accidentally broken in the Four Season Hotel by a waiter. At that time, this vintage liquor was part of the collection of a wine merchant from New York, William Sokolin. Till date, this is the highest amount paid for a wine bottle outside any charity auction.
