You’re all set to dive into the latest best seller on your cross-country flight or complete a proposal due upon landing. But your seat mate pulls out his/her cell phone and starts gabbing away.
“Hey, guess where I’m calling from,” you might hear. Then, it’s hours of “blah-blah-blah” while you’re trying to read, work, relax or watch the movie.
But there’s a silver lining in this cloud over your head. A survey of business travelers worldwide revealed that 61% would rather not hear cell phones on airplanes. And 70% of Europeans, compared to 57% of Americans, were against the use of phone during flights.
I CAN’T STAND THE MISUSE NOW OF CELL PHONES AND THE CONVERSATION THAT GO ON AND ON AND ON(AND USUALLY LOUD)….ON A CONFINDED SPACE LIKE A PLANE(COULD LED TO AIR RAGE) THE CELL PHONE IS THE MOST OVERUSED ITEM TO DATE AND NOW WITH TEXT PULLING UP TO MATCH THE MISUSE……I THINK THERE SHOULD BE CELL PHONE AREAS, FOR THAT USE ONLY,IN ALL PUBLIC PLACES……CAN YOU SAY “GOING POSTAL”
