World Heritage Sites Showcased in New Book

A new book featuring UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites is slated for publication in October 2006.

The World Heritage, by Patrick Bonneville and Philippe Hemono, is the most complete work to date showcasing the sites. The compilation lists 830 sites from 138 countries, including the 18 most recent additions made at the 30th Session of the World Heritage Committee in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The 464-page book was developed in collaboration with partners from around the world. Highlights include color images, maps, historical and scientific qutoes along with text based on official descriptions from the World Heritage Center.

The book retails for $45 and a special 15 percent advance order discount offer is now available online at www.worldheritageboutique.com.

The World Heritage is available exclusively through the World Heritage Boutique; quantities are limited.
