Tunnel To Resorts Nears Completion :: The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

By next month, the 1.4-km long tunnel to The Palm Jumeirah, a palm-shaped patch of land in the Arabian Gulf, will be complete. In the years to come, over 20 five-star, mega-luxury hotels and resorts will spring from the sand here, which is one of the world’s richest regions.

This quite impressive engineering feat dammed the water to build the tunnel, then undammed it. Stay tuned on updates and hotel openings in the future.
