The spread of wine culture and increased consumption plus diversity almost necessitates a real specialization. The Wine Advocate is attempting just that with the presence of Rovani, Thomases and Schildknecht. I think the Advocate will continue, albeit with less market significance in the coming years. The bottom line is that one can’t be all things to all people.
