1945 Chateau Mouton-Rothschild Jeroboam

Wine enthusiasts will regard 1945 Chateau Mouton-Rothschild Jeroboam as one of the fine vintage wines. A single bottle may cost you $114,614. It dates back to the 20th century background. This is a rare quality and most fascinating red wine of the world. Jeroboam features the first artist-labeled Mouton Rothschild by Baron Philippe de Rothschild.

This great vintage wine was sold at an auction in Christie’s London. However, no one knows the name of the buyer. The 1945 label is the most notable for its “V” for victory, indicating the end of the Second World War. In 1853, Baron Nathaniel bought Château Brane Mouton. After buying, he employed an artist to create a designer label of the bottle and thus it became Château Mouton Rothschild. This tradition has been continuing since then as many famous artists created labels for this brand. I wish I could be one of those lucky few to taste it.
