Dining & Wining In The O.C. :: 19th Annual Taste of Newport, Newport Beach, CA

I just returned from Orange County’s glitz, glamour and sizzling hot weather. I might go south next weekend for the 19th Annual Taste of Newport at Newport Center Drive on Fashion Island in Newport Beach, September 14th through the 16th.

It features over fine foods from over 30 restaurants, 20 wineries, plus flavorful cocktails, rich tasting brews, live cooking demos, spectacular live entertainment (Huey Lewis & The News on Friday from 6-11pm; Devo on Saturday from 4-11pm, and Kevin Costner & Modern West, plus The Al McKay Allstars present the Music of Earth Wind and Fire on Sunday from Noon to 8pm).

Other entertainers will include:
• The L.A. Allstars
• The Pawn Shop Kings
• Derek Bordeaux
• Dana Parker
• Tony Suraci.

Friday and Saturday tickets are $22 in advance or $25 at the gate, while Sunday tickets are $18 in advance of walk up. Kids 8 and under are free. Tastes are an additional $1 to $7.
