To celebrate Earth Day on April 22, major hotel chains are trying to show how green they are. Three examples from W Hotels Worldwide:

1) Green Wheels Program — A limo service that offers luxury hybrids or ethanol-powered cars, but at the same fees they charge for more traditional wheels, and

2) Free Puma Bicycles and Helmets –– As an alternative to gas-powered vehicles for its guests, and

3) Spring Fling Package — Through May 26 and with rates starting at $219/night, W will donate a total of 100 trees to the Trees of the Future organization when rooms are booked.
