Steep Tea Times: A New & Old London Tradition

Stars like Stella McCartney and Kate Moss have been spotted having a spot of tea in some of London’s more fashionable high tea restaurants, from the recently opened Tea Palace in fashionable Notting Hill to some of the city’s most refined hotels and restaurants. Steeped in tradition, the Palace is a modern tea emporium offering the UK’s widest selection (160) of the finest quality teas and infusion. It’s also dedicated to the “rediscovery of a proper cup of tea.”

The tea isn’t the only thing that’s steep here. Prices here are $22 per person for the afternoon tea, or $33 for the champagne tea (NOTE: tea is not included but pots start at $6.50).

Daily serving is from 3-7 pm at 175 Westbourne Grove, London W11.
Call 44-20 7727-2600 for reservations for groups of six or more tea-totalers.
Or visit The Tea Palace.
