A Slice And A Glass: Pizza Wine, Ohio

When I eat pizza, I almost always quaff a beer. Because pizza and beer go together like ham and eggs, peanut butter and jelly, or baked potato and sour cream.

But now, there’s a new wine from Ohio that calls itself Pizza Vino. It’s now available in a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Pinot Grigio. And it’s being touted as the “perfect accompaniment to a slice of Meat Feast.” A wine review site, Frank151, “found it smooth and fruity… a perfect compliment to the tomato-based sauces, cheeses and meats found in pizza.?
