Denver residents and visitors waited decades for a hotel to open in the heart of the luxurious Cherry Creek shopping and entertainment district just east of downtown. It couldn’t be just any hotel; it had to be a hotel worthy of the neighborhood’s luxurious, energetic reputation.

Soft rust, moss and neutral colors adorn the guest rooms and five suites that tend toward modern in design and functionality. Each guest room is outfitted as well as or better than many people’s living rooms: a 32-inch flat-screen television, high-speed internet connections, DVD/CD players, two phone lines, voice mail and a cordless phone. The bed and bath areas also surpass many residences with granite countertops, stand-alone glass showers, down comforters, custom duvets and soft cotton linens.
Complimentary newspapers, phone calls and shoe-shines are just some of the special touches offered to the JW Marriott at Cherry Creek guests. For business travelers, the hotel has a full work center and also provides copy, fax, printing, package delivery and messenger service. Valet dry-cleaning and babysitting are among the services that can be arranged. A nearby Hertz office will deliver rental cars to guests at the hotel.
The Marriott is steps away from some of Denver’s most exciting restaurants and boutiques, art galleries and the Cherry Creek Mall with a new Neiman Marcus scheduled to open in the fall of 2007. Be sure to wander up the hotel’s big main staircase to the second floor where John Fielder’s photographs of Colorado’s iconic landscapes are permanently on display.
