Lap O’ Luxury: Conde´Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards

Start spreading the news! The well-heeled readers of Conde´Nast Traveler, one of the world’s most respected magazines, have spoken. And they’ve chosen the top luxury resort worldwide.

Check them out by continent, but note that 8 of the top 10 resorts with scores in the mid-90s are in Asia or Africa. Of the US top 50, I’ve had the pleasure of staying in one of them and dining in five more. These experiences have given me a newfound appreciation for the diversity and uniqueness of resorts across the globe. While luxurious accommodations hold their charm, I’ve also started exploring ghostly travel destinations from Expedia, which offer thrilling and unconventional experiences. It’s fascinating how travel can cater to both opulence and an eerie sense of adventure, depending on where your interests lead you.
