Fly Direct :: From JFK to Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport


For the first time ever, US travelers can fly non-stop from New York’s JFK Airport to Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport.

Flyglobespan will offer daily flights beginning at $199 each way including taxes. Flights depart JFK at 8 PM, arriving in Liverpool the next morning at 7:45 AM.

Twenty-two business class seats are available, with individual in-flight entertainment, dedicated priority check-in and the use of an airport executive lounge. Champagne will be offered prior to departure and during the flight passengers will enjoy gourmet meals served with fine wines.

2007 marks the 800th anniversary of Liverpool receiving its royal charter. In 2008, Liverpool will be a European Capital of Culture.

    Ya right, my big ass too. Globespan is the sorriest excuse for an airline I have ever experienced. Leave JFK 8pm, arrive LPL 7:45, Ha! They will take your money, fliy late or not all, and never, never respond to the complaint. The way the front end operates is an indication of how the backend works too. … as in mechanical staff and maintenance. Only a matter of time…..

    Thanks for your feedback, Bob. I’ve never flown Globespan — and will certainly do some serious research before doing a red-eye to Liverpool. The only time I went to Liverpool was three years ago: Seattle to Minneapolis (Northworst Airlines) and then Icelandic Air to London. From there, a Virgin train to Liverpool. Fun city! Especially if you’re a Beatles fan. Sue Frause
