The package includes three nights’ luxury accommodations; daily breakfast for two in the dining room; four 60-minute standard massage or body treatments in Honua Spa; daily yoga classes; flower leis; access to the spa’s steam and cold plunge; private gardens greeting and a spa amenity gift. Rates are from $2,290 per room, per stay, exclusive of tax.
The Hotel Hana-Maui was built in 1946 and renovated in 2002. Located on the 4,000-acre Hana Ranch, it is adjacent to tropical forest, waterfalls and Hamoa Beach.
The luxurious, plantation-style Sea Ranch Cottages and Suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows, sliding glass doors and spacious decks looking out to Hana Bay and the surrounding mountains.
The Honua Spa was added three years ago and features a Watsu pool, outdoor lava rock showers and a full menu of treatments.
My husband and I stayed there three years ago and although it rained the entire time (it was March), we had a most relaxing and wonderful stay. We need to return to see what it’s like when it’s sunny!
The resort is located at the end of the famed Hana Highway, considered one of the world’s most beautiful drives.
For those not interested in the challenging road, there are flights to the nearby Hana Airport with complimentary shuttle. There is also a complimentary shuttle to nearby Hana Beach.
