As part of the Rail Blazing package, you’ll travel in style and comfort along one of the world’s most scenic byways. The Sea to Sky Highway is the gateway to Whistler, one of the main venues of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. The 75-mile train ride takes three hours as it wends its way along the rugged, mountainous coastline from North Vancouver to Whistler. Bring your camera!

The Rail Blazing package includes round-trip transportation on the new Whistler Mountaineeer with Coast Classic Service plus accommodation at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Cost is $192 CDN per person, per night based on double occupancy.

Or upgrade to the Golden Glacier Rail Blazing package and you’ll relax in style in the custom-built Glacier Dome coach with its panoramic views. When checking into the Fairmont, you’ll be directed to a Fairmont Gold floor at the Chateau. This “boutique hotel within a hotel” has such amenities as private check-in and concierge, deluxe continental breakfast and complimentary hors d’oeuvres in the Fairmont Gold Lounge. Rates begin at $296 CDN per person, per night based on double occupancy.
