An interior of cream and beige hues with dim lightings creates a perfect romantic atmosphere for diners in Benu, which is a new restaurant in the center of SOMA in San Francisco. Leather chairs with low backs on both sides of the table decorate the central dining area. There are two dining choices in this restaurant; a tasting menu and an à la carte menu. The menu list mainly retains its focus on delicious American cuisine but some of the dishes are prepared with Asian tastes. There is not a huge variety of vegetarian items but if diners opt for the non-vegetarian course, there are several categories diners can choose from. Delicious starters initiate the evening meal followed by tasty pasta and rice. Then, diners can experience a dynamic taste of the main course from varieties of options of shellfish, fish and meat. A wide gallery of cheese and dessert collection comes at the end to complete the grand dinner at Benu.
