Italy is shaped like a boot. Boot makes us think of shoes. Do you have a predilection for shoes? Do you just freeze if you don’t have the right shoes to go with the outfit or activity planned for the day? I know! The minute I start planning a trip I run a mental list of the shoes I’m going to pack. Of course, my list always comes short of an item or two. So the exercise ends up with a trip to the stores, as if I needed an excuse! Fortunately for my budget, last week it was only a pair of espadrilles that I was missing for my trip to the Cote d’Azur,…but I haven’t really finished my packing list yet!
