A Scotch for Robert Burns

January 25 was a special day because it marked the 250th birth anniversary of Robert Burns, the famous Scottish poet. Of course, who would not have heard of this great poet? A cup of kindness was raised for Burns and the song written by him. Yes, you guessed it right. It is auld lang syne.

In Scotland, celebration is a yearlong affair and you do not need an occasion to raise a toast.
