Welcoming Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Tim McGraw, Sheryl Crow, and Keyshia Cole to the Stage :: New Orleans Jazz Festival

This year’s New Orleans Jazz Festival promises to be Bigger n’ Badder than ever! Not only will the big names above appear for the very first time, but they’ll be joined by all-time Fest favorites The Neville Brothers, Jimmy Buffett, Santana, Widespread Panic, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, and Diana Krall, among so many others.

The return of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, one of America’s most celebrated celebrations, to its first full seven days of programming since 2005 has inspired Festival organizers to assemble the deepest overall mix of rhythm & blues, rock, jazz, country, blues, gospel, world beat, and more in the 39-year history of the event, which speaks to the serious effort to grow the Festival at a time when New Orleans needs it the most, to the tune of an estimated economic impact on Louisiana of approximately $300 million, will help guide New Orleans to complete recovery—culturally, economically and spiritually.”

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, Inc. will hold its 10th Annual Gala fundraiser on Thursday, April 24 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Little Richard, the original wild man of rock ‘n roll, will give his only Jazz Fest performance at the Gala. Also featured will be R&B legend Deacon John and the Ivories, bringing a contemporary high energy mix of Motown, Memphis and Louisiana R&B. Individual tickets are $500 and tables of ten are $5,000. A limited number of Jazz Fest’s popular Big Chief VIP Experience packages featuring a full weekend pass and VIP amenities are available for $750 for the 1st weekend, $900 with parking and $800 for the 2nd weekend, $1000 with parking. A new premium ticket called the Grand Marshal VIP Pass that allows front-row, standing-room viewing at the Festival’s three biggest stages are also on sale now while very limited supplies last – 1st weekend is $450, or $600 with parking and 2nd weekend is $500, or $700 with parking.
