The Spa Fairmont Le Château Montebello in Quebec is Hot!

Le Chateau Montebello, Quebec

The Spa Fairmont Le Château Montebello in Quebec was given top marks by Condé Nast Traveler magazine.

It’s one of only two Canadian spas to be honored by the publication’s prestigious Hot Spa List. The other is also in Quebec, the Manoir St-Andrews Spa & Detente. Condé Nast Traveler’s 11th annual May Hot Spa List is the insider’s guide to the newest, hottest spas around the world.

To develop the list, the magazine’s editors checked out numerous new properties around the globe, rigorously evaluating them. The result is a well researched guide to the world’s best new establishments. The 2007 Hot List features spas whose design, service and amenities transcend industry standards. The spas were judged by reporters who traveled incognito in order to fairly test service, surroundings and treatments.

Located midway between Montréal and Ottawa, the Spa at the Fairmont Le Château Montebello is nestled into the forest fringe, adjacent to the flowing waters of the Ottawa River. This wilderness sanctuary combines rustic charm with state-of-the-art features. Not to be missed: the deluxe couple’s suite with fireplace, Japanese sunken tub for two, double rain shower and side-by-side massage tables. Pure bliss!

The Spa Package includes accommodation, buffet breakfast, table d’hôte dinner; $100 spa credit per person; complimentary access to the sports center, indoor pool as well as squash and indoor tennis.
