The Library Hotel – NYC

Maybe it is just me growing older (and somewhat wiser), but I have really come to appreciate the simple pleasures in life.

The overall experience I had at the Library Hotel was one of the most pleasurable stays in New York. When I mention
the simplicity, it should not be confused with lack of elegance. The decor in unassuming with an impressive collection
of books. Situated on Madison between 41st and 42nd, it could not more convenient to Grand Central/Midtown.

The staff made me feel at home the second I hopped out of the taxi. They put on a fabulous wine and cheese every night from 5-8 pm for their guests. Such a brilliant idea, and something that would keep me coming back to the hotel on every visit to NYC.

I was a bit surprised to see their collection of hotels are all rated in the top 6 on TripAdvisor. With the plethora of fancy schmancy hotels in NYC how did they get away with this. Quite simply with attention to detail and with those kind of rankings they must treat every guest the same way as they treated me, with the intent to make me feel like the most important guest they had ever received.

I HIGHLY recommend the Library Hotel for your next stay in NYC.

PS – If you feel like tickling the ivories, while enjoying your wine and cheese there is a lovely piano for you to use.

Spent a wonderful weekend at The Library Hotel where we have stayed before. Great location, comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast and wine/appetizer hours. The staff just are the best! Friendly and helpful.

Though this was my first time staying at the Library, I was felt genuinely welcomed by each of the people I encountered – from the reception staff to the bellhop. From the moment I landed, they anticipated what I may need from directions, to a cab, to when they offered plentiful afternoon imbibement and refreshments to breakfast items

I have stayed in NYC many times in the past, and never have I had such an amazing experience like I did last weekend at the library. The hotel was in a PRIME location. Service was incredibly accommodating from an early check-in to holding luggage post-checkout.
