The “If You Have to Ask, You Can’t Afford It” Hotel Room :: Ty Warner Penthouse, NYC

But just so you know, it’s a jaw-dropping $30,000 a night. The Ty Warner Penthouse — Ty’s the creator of the Beanie Babies — which recently opened in Manhattan’s Four Seasons Hotel is perfect for super-rich globetrotters who demand nothing short of the opulent best.

Warner persuaded I M Pei out of retirement to design the penthouse, along with interior designer Peter Marino, at a cost of $50 million. So what can you expect for the big bucks? Space is usually unheard of in NYC, but here you get the entire 52nd floor of the hotel, with over 4,000 square feet, comprising four main rooms (bedroom, living room, library, spa/exercise room with unlimited treatments from a masseuse).

Just a sampling of the riches include: walls are inlaid with mother of pearl, curtains with gold thread, the bathroom floor with onyx, and the coffee table is appropriately covered with shark skin. And of course, a personal butler is on hand 24 hours a day to cater for your every need.

And just in case you wanna climb down from your ivory tower and rub elbows with the huddled masses, a Rolls-Royce, with driver, is on standby.
