The Best Views of Dublin: Gravity Bar

No trip to Dublin is complete without a tour of the Guinness Storehouse. The Storehouse was built to house the Guinness fermentation process and also conducts tours for curious visitors.

Entering the Storehouse is like stepping inside a giant pint glass. Each floor is a layer of a beer museum leading all the way to the seventh floor Gravity Bar where the head of the pint would be.

Gravity Bar gives you a spectacular 360° view of Dublin. The bar is a circular area encased with glass “walls�?. Particular glass panels showcase James Joyce quotes in reference to the Dublin landmark it faces.

While Gravity Bar is undoubtedly packed with tourists (not unlike myself, might I add), it is still worth the trip for the amazing views of the city and the welcoming ambiance. It’s best to go in the early evening hours when you can watch the sun set and the city lights gradually twinkle on.
