Sweet and Dour Music Festival, Belgium

Since 1989, the Dour Festival has been one of the world’s largest stages for music. In fact, from July 14-17, six stages will feature a range of great bands, including Alec Empire, Roots Manuva, The Subways, Bright Eyes, Front 242, Vitalic, The Young Gods, Mylo, and dozens more.

Its Website says: “Dour is an alternative music festival based on new discoveries, tolerance and the pleasure to party. It is impossible to resist this amazing atmosphere and the great diversity of styles brought together by more than 200 bands. All the non mainstream genres are represented: Pop, house, punk, hardcore, rock, post-rock, hip-hop, metal, Drum’n bass, electro, R&B, Reggae, Noise, Indie or techno. The festival site is composed of 6 stages each with their own identity and sound. ”

It’s like Woodstock with campsites available for attendees. But hopefully, they won’t get the days of rain and mud. Presale: 1 day: € 32; 4 days: € 67 (excluding reservation costs). At the entrance: Camper van on the camping: € 15 per vehicle; parking ticket for the car: € 5. Dour Festival.
