Great reputation. Terrific entrees. Killer desserts. Attentive service. In a word, Yabbies is “Yummies”.
Yabbies Coastal Kitchen in San Francisco’s Cow Hollow district has earned its stellar reputation for excellent seafood. My friends Sara, Jennifer, Sharon and I shared a few of their wonderful salads and appetizers.
Two of us then dived into the spicy and delicious Sesame Crusted Tuna, with Sticky Rice Cake, Ginger Soy Sauce, and Carrot Daikon Salad, while the other two rolled up their sleeves to tackle the Yabbies Cioppino with Dungeness Crab, Prawns, Clams, Mussels, and Fish. The latter seemed a bit on the sparse side compared to the generous portions of tuna.
We shared one of their sumptuous desserts, and it was plenty for four of us. So if you want to enjoy seafood dining at your own pace in a great neighborhood restaurant, make a res for Yabbies soon.
