Road Trip: Park City, UT to Denver, CO

Breakfast in Utah… lunch in Wyoming… dinner in Colorado. Such is the thrill of a 540-mile road trip in one day. And we’re still speaking to each other!

We left Park City in the morning after a brief stop at the Utah Olympic Park with a training run for hot dog skiers down one of the ski jump runs that landed in a deep swimming pool, the opportunity to take a sled down the bobsled and luge runs, and more. Pretty cool stuff.

Then we drove for 10 hours with a few stops in Wyoming. It’s a picturesque state compared to butt-ugly flat Nevada, but it’s still not as scenic as Colorado, which we entered from the north and drove south to Denver. We’re staying at the Hotel Monaco Denver. See my next article for a review of it…
