Road Skill: Buckeye Roadhouse, Mill Valley, CA

A few miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge is the Buckeye Roadhouse. It’s also a mile downhill from the scene of a horrendous 28-car pile-up last Saturday morning from a rare 3-6″ snow and ice storm that hit the area.

The Buckeye has been a fixture on the side of Highway 101 for many decades. This upgraded venue has been around for about 15 years. Favorite American comfort foods served here include Fried Calimari, Oysters Bingo, succulent Baby Back Ribs and Prime Rib on Monday Nights.

Reservations are highly recommended for Brunch, Lunch or Dinner, so I was glad to have one when lunching here with my friends Brandon and Mike the other day.
