Osaka and Kobe – Second Most Expensive Cities of the World

The twin cities of Japan, Osaka and Kobe stand second in the list of most expensive cities of the world. The cost of living is very high in these two cities. Population density is very high that results in high housing and other costs. The population crosses the mark of 1 million. Various multinational corporate firms such as Sharp, Sanyo, Panasonic, Mizuno, Mitsubishi and many others have their head quarters in these cities contributing in its flourished industrial scenario. Financial industries in both the cities are providing high wages that leads to the increasingly high cost of living. These all together help it to become one of the most expensive cities to live in the world. It is regarded as the hub of Japan’s economy and the commercial capital of the country.

This Knasai region city has Local Autonomy Law. The GDP, when compared to the other developed cities is much higher and the rate remained almost the same since the last decade.
