I think we need a bit of a reality check here! I have a few comments:
– With all due respect, this suite is a bit dated. Did they copy those statues from an 18th century garden in Queens? But frankly so is Holland America. Not a line for for anybody under 70 or with any modern sensibilities.
– I love midships suites. Seabourn (who I used to work for) has a couple on their original ships and they’re wonderful. The best thing about them is that you’re not going rock around the clock with choppy waters.
– Want a bargain? You can book a 68 day Holland America cruise around South America in Feburary 2012 for about $14,000 a person. OK, not in the above suite, but maybe you can live without the statues.
