A three-course pre-fixe meal is $88 at one of SF’s most celebrated celebrity chef restaurants, Michael Mina. The ZAGAT Guide 2007 for San Francisco Bay Area Restaurants rates this celeb chef at 29 (out of a possible 30 for perfection) with the average cost of a meal, one drink and tipat a whopping $105 per person.
The tasting menu is supposed to be superb and the wine menu is said to be an oeniphile’s dream. After all, Michael Minna cut his chef’s teeth at Aqua, another highly rated SF restaurant. If you are lucky enough to dine there, let us know what you think of it.
