Latina Fashionista: Thalia

Mexican pop star Thalia believes in bright colors and lots of gold jewelry. The muy bonita former Spanish-speaking soap opera star turned singer is now designing a line of Thalia Sodi Collection fashions to promote Latina clothing for Kmart. “Maybe we’re a little more colorful,” she says, “and there’s always a little spice, a little flavor, and something flirty.” Her fall styles include popular jeans, burnt-out velvet tops, sweaters with metallic thread, and a black-and-white striped shirt with tropical fruit appliques, all with with glitzy trim and snugger fits.
