The success of the first “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie in 2003 has prompted Disney Imagineers to upgrade and update the ride that launched tens of thousands of ships. So, as of today when it reopened, it now includes Captain Jack Sparrow (played by everyone’s favorite rebel, Johnny Depp) and the evil Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush).
