It was only a matter of time. According to the Associated Press, “Apple Inc. and Volkswagen AG are discussing the possibility of building an ‘iCar’ that would feature products by the producer of the ubiquitous iPod personal music player.”

On-board electronics may include:
• An integrated in-car hookup for iPods.
• A satellite navigation system.
• Cup warmers.

Others I can recommend would include:
• Bluetooth for wireless in-car communications.
• An in-car laptop to sync with the iPod hookup.
