Hundreds of More Apple Apps :: iPhone
More games. More music. More navigation. More office apps. In fact, there are now more than 500 new software programs for the next-gen iPhone 3G that will run on the 3G cell phone network.
They’re all at the App Store, which is now part of the iTunes software site.
According to a story at SF Gate: “Developers for the App Store set prices for their programs and share a cut of their sales with Apple. Apple said that 125 applications so far are free. Others costs from 99 cents to $69.99. To run the applications, users need to download the iPhone 2.0 software, which is free for iPhone customers and cost $9.95 for iPod touch users.”
