Vista D’oro Farms in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley is taking its signature cooking classes on the road — all the way to France. The Canadian culinary agritourism farm is offering two French culinary experiences this summer in Provence.

You’ll spend four nights at La Parran in Privat, a small hamlet in Cornillon. Accommodations will be in an 18th-century stone farmhouse that features a pool overlooking the surrounding vineyards. Nearby is Domaine Challias, famous for its Cotes du Rhone.

The culinary package is $1,800 CAD or approximately $1,540 US. It includes:
• Four nights’ accommodations at La Parran (all with ensuite bathrooms)
• Three hands-on cooking classes with recipe handouts
• Three visits to markets in Avignon, Carpentras and Uzes
• Two wine tasting tours
• Four breakfasts and four dinners with wine

Dates are July 25-29 and August 1-5, 2007.

Children are welcome to stay with their parents at no extra charge. Airfare is not included.
