Horizon Air now has direct flights to Sonoma Wine Country from both Los Angeles and Seattle.

The twice-daily flights from LAX arrive at Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport at 10:10 AM and 8:30 PM. Introductory fares are as low as $69 one-way. A daily flight out of Seattle arrives at 3:50 PM, leaving plenty of time to enjoy wine tasting on your day of arrival. Introductory fares start at $109 one-way.

When flying out of Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport, Horizon Air will allow fliers to bring home a case of up to 12 bottles of wine per passenger at no extra charge. The wine must be packaged to courier standards for shipment. In addition to the baggage exemption, Horizon will include a microbrew and wines from Sonoma County in its in-flight service through April 2007. All beverages, including beer and wine, are complimentary on Horizon Air.

Sonoma County, located 30 miles from San Francisco, is a premier wine, spa and coastal destination featuring more than 250 wineries and 76 miles of Pacific coast.

One Response to Fly Direct to Sonoma Wine Country: Horizon Air

  1. This is also great news for people *in* Sonoma and Napa County. They no longer need to drive to Oakland or San Francisco to fly places. They have a local airport with RJ service to LAX (a great international hub). And as Horizon is a subsidiary of Alaska Airlines, SEA becomes a hub to many places across the country.
