Flights of Fancy: Business Class Upgrades

Wider seats. Better entertainment. Flatter beds. Enhanced menus. If you’re sick and tired of flying coach –– especially on cross-ocean flights — now’s the time to fly Business Class or First Class and give yourself the ultiimate upgrade, lying down.

According to a story titled “Planes offer ‘space’ travel” in today’s SF Chronicle, this type of service upgrade is occuring in all classes, but the best amenities are being offered in business class on long-haul flights. For example, check out the 10.4″ TV and 27 inch-wide sleeping seat being offered on Singapore Airlines. More like being home instead of 35,000 feet in the air.
