Falanghina Sannio: An Italian Favorite

Everyone has their favorites when it comes to making a choice of wines. The editor of Wine Spectator, Harvey Steiman, who has been working with the firm since 1983, expressed his thoughts about his favorite wine. It is an Italian white wine and if you are guessing about it then here it is – Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina Sannio 2007.

A few days back he met some of his old friends at reputed Northern Italian restaurant known as Poggio in Sausalito, Calif. It was the occasion of the Gran Bollito Misto feast. Along with the main course of some true delicacies, they longed for some soft red wine but before that, they asked for some great white wine that would perfectly complement the lovely pasta, antipasti, and ravioli.

While looking at the wine he found Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina 2007. Instantly he recalled that it was one of his favorites.
