You drink red wine, white rose, even rosé. But have you ever heard if a green wine? That’s how San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom is positioning his new Cade Winery, which opens this Wednesday on Howell Mountain in Napa Valley.
As part of Newsome’s PlumpJack Group, this uber minimalist facility is powered by the sun, is aiming for a LEED gold certification, is using grapes from the organic estate vineyard, and is offering a trio of Cabernets and a sole Sauv Blanc.
