Eating For The Greater Good: Dine Out To End Hunger

The majority of upscale restaurants in Marin County, just north of San Francisco, are banding together for the greater good. On Thursday, November 16, when you dine at any of the participants below, 20% of the food sales will be donated to Homeward Bound of Marin — to help end homelessness. “Dine Out to End Hunger” is part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. For more info, call 415.455.5681.

The participating restaurants –– and I’ve dined at all but two of them — include: El Paseo, Mill Valley; Fork, San Anselmo; Insalata’s, San Anselmo; Kitchen, Novato; The Lark Creek Inn, Larkspur; Pizza Antica, Mill Valley; Poggio, Sausalito; Vin Antico, San Rafael; and Yankee Pier, Larkspur.
