East Meets Best: Taste of Asia: March 23-25, San Francisco

Even though Chinese New Year has come and gone—the fun’s just beginning. With all the sushi I’ve consumed over the last decade, dipping ONLY in Kikkoman’s Low Sodium Soy Sauce, it’s a good thing that they’re giving me (well, I guess you guys too) back a little by hooking up with Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Ca. to present the Taste of Asia.

Trust me… tickets are going fast (and you must buy them in advance) and you will not want to miss the Gala Event, March 23, that features many of S.F.’s BEST Asian restaurants –– from Anzu to Yuzu and about 20 other of my favorite restaurants will be serving their signature dishes.

Who else, but the Honorary Chair, celebrity chef Martin Yan could head up such an exciting weekend culinary celebration, March 23–25, 2007. Be careful of how much sake you sip because you will want to be up bright and early the next morning for a full two days of culinary festivites. I can’t imagine what Michael Recchiuti, has up his sleeve for EAST MEETS WEST: ASIAN INFLUENCE IN CHOCOLATE, but I’m sure it will be fascinating.

Culinary Seminars on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25 will feature tastings, demonstrations, and conversations with our culinary friends including:
