Small Plates for Big European Tastes: Terzo, San Francisco

An anonymous San Francisco blogger of “Give Me Some Food” writes: “Terzo” means ‘a third place’ in Italian. The design looked awfully like something out of Sweden. Minimalist, wood, sleek, geometric…” This Cow Hollow is a vibrant, authentically European designed neighborhood restaurant featuring friendly service, interesting wines, and a Pan-Mediterranean menu based on seasonal ingredients.

But she and her husband — who was not initially a fan of tapas — were both won over by the six small plates that they ordered. Each was an exquisite blend of ingredients, but for the sixth, “this pasta was perfect. It also makes me believe that I need to take a cooking course on pasta. It seems like no matter what I do, I can not get my sauce to stick to the pasta like it did in this dish. And it really makes a difference with every mouth full.”
