Famous for its quality wines and exquisite chateaux the lack of tourist activities and luxury accommodation is all set to change.
Billionaire Bernard Magrez a Bordeaux wine producer said “Not enough is done at the very top end of the tourist market.” So he’s opening his own tour agency. From September luxury short stays in four of his 18 Bordeaux Chateaux will be on offer with private helicopter or Rolls Royce on call for tours of the famous wine growing area.
Fine vintage wines will flow, cookery courses or wine tastings will be offered and private music concerts will be part of the 2000 Euro ($3373) per person for a two-day, one-night stay.
