From Dive News Wire:
Beginning December 16, Continental Airlines — the world’s sixth largest carrier — will launch a weekly non-stop flight from its Houston hub to/from the southern Caribbean island of Bonaire — famed for its scuba diving, snorkeling and warm year-round weather. The scheduled round-trip air service will depart Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Fridays at 11:30 p.m., arriving in Bonaire on Saturdays at 6:15 a.m. (Flight #1898). The return flight (#1899) to Houston will depart Bonaire at 8:00 a.m., arriving in Houston at 10:50 a.m.
In addition, BonairExpress, the Bonaire-based airline that offers daily flights between Bonaire, Aruba, Curacao and St. Maarten, introduced its new flight schedule on August 15, offering passengers more daily flights between the islands, at more convenient times, as well as better connections to Delta Airlines flights arriving into Aruba and American Airlines flights arriving into Curacao from the U.S.
BonairExpress, the only airline to provide service between the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao), now offers 11 flights per day between Bonaire and Curacao, 8 flights per day between Bonaire and Aruba, and 5 flights per day between Bonaire and St. Maarten.
