Anything But The Ordinary: A Bed of Roses Florist, SF
What do Katharine Hepburn, Yehudi Menuhin, Georgia O’Keefe, Danielle Steele, Sharon Stone, Michael Tilson Thomas, Client Eastwood, Sally Field, Whoopi Goldberg’s staff and me have in common?
Besides rare talent and dashing good looks, we all rely on Patricia Miller at A Bed of Roses Florist in San Francisco when we want to reward a friend, client or family member with living art.
For 25 years, Pat has been dazzling and delighting people with her floral artistry. She’s also been called the ‘Alice Waters of flowers’ for her fresh approach. She ran a very successful retail shop on fashionable Union Street for 20 years. She uses only the finest materials and combines them in unexpected ways — with whimsical, detailed, and intricate arrangements that incorporate the container into the whole, creating a harmonious whole with no line between container and contained. In no way is she a pedal pusher.
Besides thank you notes and accolades from Ms. Hepburn and those listed above, she’s received verbal praise from Cary Grant, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sophia Coppola’s assistant, Yo-Yo Ma, Rene Russo, various opera stars, and many more.
Pat’s floral designs are truly breathtaking, featuring an incomparable selection of unusual and beautiful flowers, branches, vines, and berries. Whenever I want to truly impress a loved one or a client, I give Pat a call. I always know that her talents will dazzle because whenever someone receives one of her creations, they say, “Oh my God!”
