SF hosts The Black & White Ball every other year in its Civic Center area — an all-night, black-tie extravaganza featuring gourmet food, fine wine with tents and tents to hold 10,000 hoity toity people, celebs and politicos.
Now, the San Francisco SPCA and CLAW (Critter Lovers at Work) are hositng the Bark & Whine Ball on March 2, to raise funds for the SPCA Cinderella Fund for injured dogs and cats. This fun evening features a cocktail buffet, silent auction of pet goodies, photos and music for pet owners and their pets. Tix are $125, $75 (29 and younger); $450-2,500 (patrons), $20 per dog (one per guest).
