Starwood Capital Group operates the Westin, Sheraton, Four Points Sheraton and W hotel chains. It just announced the launch a new international luxury brand with a French flavor called the Crillon to develop European-style hotels in major global destinations.
The flagship and the first to be upgraded will be the only six-star luxe lodgings in Paris: the Hotel de Crillon at Place de la Concorde. It was built in 1758 by Louis XV. It has 147 rooms. And it’s considered a Paris institution since it became a hotel in 1909 by heads of state and celebs by offering impeccable service, an award-winning Les Ambassadeurs Restaurant, and much more.
Other cities targeted for Crillon Hotels may include London, Rome, Barcelona, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai and Qatar.
